Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues,

let us invite you to the LIFMAT 2022 Conference. The last year conference was very successful. So, we would like to continue now even with a two-day conference. It will be the place for presentation of new modern technologies not only for experts mutually but newly also to the general public. The public can get to know some top projects, products and services and thanks to the exhibition, the attendants can even get a try of some of them.

Up-to-date technologies with artificial intelligence features start to help us in medicine or in common life. The COVID-19 pandemic has established many of health problems, and together with a lack of medical professionals, it represents the problem how to maintain an adequate health care. That is the problem to which the digitalisation of some activities could bring a successful response.

Also foreign speakers will be present this year. So, we will have the possibility to see how modern technologies and telemedicine are used even outside the Czech Republic.

One of the conference goal is to help young perspective individuals or teams with the presentation of their projects. We want to make possible for them to find partners for further development of their projects and to put them to practice. That is one of the reasons why we involve also the successful speed dating format - „One minute with scientists“.

I believe that everybody will take some own benefits from the event.

The following personalities are looking forward to your attendance:

prof. MUDr. Martin Prázný, CSc. Ph.D.
doc. MUDr. Martin Matoulek, Ph.D.

Run around your health during one day at one place

8.9.1. day of the event is intended for experts and students of medical and technical faculties.

9.9.2. day will focus on the public, end users and patients.

The exhibition aims to present topics:

  • telemedicine and medical applications
  • wearable electronics - wearable electronics
  • remote care
  • new health services
  • health projects and portals
  • patient organizations
  • increasing physical and mental performance

Stalls where you can physically test something specific (eg have a physiological parameter measured, consult or install a mobile application) will be marked with a special "Action point" tag.

Upon arrival, the visitor will receive a LIFMAT Pass, where he will receive a stamp and a record of the event or measured value at each visited station. Everyone has an account automatically: LIFMAT Pass electronic, which is connected to the LIFMAT App mobile application. Here the participant will find a digital record of all completed measurements and will have the opportunity to train the data flow from various wearables.

Also the mobile application LIFMAT App will be available to be downloaded for the access to your data. In this app, the patient/the user can interconnect the data flow from various wearables (approximately 350 common devices will be supported). The aim is not to monitor the participants for a long time; we are only conference. Our goal is to demonstrate that entering into telemedicine need not be complicated.

Some representatives participated in the exhibition will attend to their interested persons in closable rooms with the reception desk at the entrance. The access then can be regulated and the environment will be suitable for anything ranged from screening examination to signing of the contract.

One minute with scientists - Telemedicine
Speed dating

Speed dating, or also „Academic date”, is organized by Central Bohemian Innovation Center (SIC).

It is organized as round tables with a very brief and productive form of presentation and communication between two interested persons or among more than two interested persons.

Each attendant has only 2 minutes of attention to present his or her own project or offer. If the person is founded interesting, the attendants exchange their visiting cards and continue in the discussion later in some other place. Around 60 interested persons can be addressed in only 2 hours.

The goal of the event is to make interconnections. That is the reason why the followed are involved:

  • - research establishments
  • - innovative companies
  • - hospitals
  • - universities and other institutions
  • - investors
  • - students looking for the use of their potential

The common interests are telemedicine and modern technologies in health care system.

One minute with scientists
One minute with scientists

Under the name of „One minute with scientists“, the meeting was organized on the ground of Czech Technical University (ČVUT) as early as on 23 rd September 2021 and the expectations were surpassed. It brought new contacts and ideas for telemedicine projects for more than 60 representatives of research, private and public sphere from all around the Czech Republic. The event was moderated by Aleš Vlk, experienced consultant and expert on science, research and innovations..

It is a success that this event is a part of our conference and exhibition and will become a part of such extensive meeting of experts and persons interested in modern technologies in health care.

Such format of speed dating is not common in the Czech Republic but is very popular and successful abroad. „Round tables took place in two rounds. In each of the rounds, the participants were in advance assigned to the tables according to their preferences in a few various topics. They also should be mixed to meet at each table the representatives of different sectors. The task for each attendant was to present himself in the structure – who I am, where I am from – what I am looking for or on the contrary what I can offer. Every such presentation was followed by 8-10 partners. The group size was optimal not to make receptors anonymous but to have a sufficient size of audience at the same time. During the followed networking, the participants can relax a little bit and discuss matters that they could not manage within the given interval of two minutes,“
explains Martina Vycudilíková, the organizer, Research Community Manager from SIC.
